Art Mache is a versatile modelling material that is excellent for making models, wall plaques etc. or combined with accessories to change surface textures of, for example picture frames or decorative pots using old containers . When dry it is lightweight yet strong. It is best used in conjunction with a basic structure made from modelling wire, cardboard, wood etc. Art Mache dries slowly and while it is drying you can add items to your creation, shells, seeds, glitter etc. Texture may also be added to the surface before it dries using modelling tools, forks, knives etc. When dry Art Mache has the properties of wood and can be sawn, drilled, painted and varnished.
