between NaHCO3 and HCI

Category: Gases & Gas Laws
  • Description
  • Description

This lab uses an ingenious gas collection method to collect
and determine the amount of CO2 liberated from a reaction
    between NaHCO3 and HCI.
The ideal gas law and Dalton’s law of partial pressure are
used to determine the number of moles of CO2 gas actually
produced. Includes materials for 40 student groups.
    Includes:
gas collecting tubes, Alka-Seltzer tables, HCI, NaHCO3, test
tubes, stoppers glycerol, instructions. An electronic balance
with readability to 0.01g is required but not included.
