Description

Aspirin is to this day the most widely-used painkiller
and largest selling non-prescription medicine in the
world, and is also prescribed in low doses to victims of
ischemic strokes to help prevent recurrence. Students
will learn about the history of the development
of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) as well as test the
performance of several different types of aspirin. All
aspirin samples are included in the kit and there are
enough materials for fifteen groups.
