Description

A simple, but powerful demonstration of polarization, this demo features
two 15cm diameter polarization filters mounted on a base slightly off
center from each other. Placed around their edges, a 360° protractor allows
students to easily see what happpens when the filters are perpenicular
to each other. Also included are four transparent shapes that can be
squeezed to show how a polarized filter can be used to see stress fractures
in materials. Contents include two polarized filters, four transparent
shapes and a demonstration guide.
