money.Wound with heavily oxidised resistance
wire on a vitreous enamel steel tube with the
winding, which is supported on robust diecast
end stands. The heavy duty sliding contact is of
multi-leaf phosphor bronze, nickel plated for
corrosion resistance. 4mm terminal posts are
fitted, facilitating external connection with a
conventional 4mm plug.
